OH-MY-GOD... I totally heard a song that's, like *so* perfect for the cuckolds.
The place I bartend just got an *assload* of new CD's in the machine, and some of them are from that "Time Life Collection"... the ones you see the fat, old Beach Boys or the 2 old and (probably now) gay Australian guys from that band Air Supply (lol at their name), do you know the CD's I mean??? Anyway! There's this song on there from the 70's and when I heard it, I turned to my boss who's like, OLD and I go "OMG!! Is this guy singing about his wife cheating on him, and he like, knows about it???" The guy who sings it sounded a little bit familiar to me, and THAT'S because I heard of his other song that I think is, like his most *famous* one which is called "Escape, The Pina Colada Song" but, the song I'm talking about now, is called "Him."
I totally came home and Googled the lyrics *AND* I found the video... from THE 70's and omg at the whole 70's thing, lol!!! I'm just going to link you to the radio version, and if you want to go see this guy (Rupert Holmes), you can just totally click on it... you'll see it there, lol. I *totally* have to say hi to Doug, *not* just because he called me back twice after IMing me but, because he is LIVING PROOF that the "big feet, big cock" myth is JUST a MYTH. Painful as it is to disagree with Quinn, I never thought of the action in this song as anything but a "standard" cheating-on. I listened to it again (BTW it was a hit in 1980, not the '70s, damn I'm nitpicky) and I still can't see evidence of anything else . . . she likes both guys and is trying to have it both ways. The singer certainly doesn't sound likes he's put upon; he wants an exclusive relationship with her, and if he can't get it, well too bad for her, he'll move on to someone better.
